Other Post 20th Century Philosophies
From Atariology
By the time Atariology becomes the dominant religion, several new philosophies start to take shape. Here is a list of some of the post-20th century philosphies which are related to or influenced by Atariology.
Manuac - Someone who believes that life is a game, and attempts to test the logical aspect of the game, often acting in a bizarre or irrational manner. This is not a religion, per se, but more of a social identity such as 'Punk'.
Footsie - In reference to WWI soldiers who would intentionally shoot their foot in order to get away from the trenches. A 'Footsie' is someone who purposely injures themselves in order to concentrate on other aspects of the game. For example: someone might blind themselves in order to hear better. The group is very controversial, but thankfully doesn't become popular until the mid-23rd century.
Matism - Mathematical Atariologists. They believe that the deepest meaning in life can only be obtained through the purely mathematical interpretation of Atariology. Ironically, most don't believe that The Perfect Simulation is possible.
Other philosphies related to Atariology:
Pleasantism, also called 'Plents'
Neo-Masonism, or 'Nemans'
Fatism which is short for 'Fundamental Atariologist'
Atism which is short for 'Anti-Atariologist'
